What is PLANET Code?
A legacy USPS two-state height-modulated barcode used to track letter mail. USPS retired PLANET Code in favour of the Intelligent Mail barcode.
How it is structured
Start frame bar, numeric payload represented by tall and short bars, a correction digit, and stop frame bar.
Where it is used
Historical USPS Confirm service and legacy postal documentation; not for new mail implementations.
